If you’re just starting out in the hobby, Show Me Reptiles recommends the following 4 snakes for beginners. Some key factors to keep in mind are that snakes have many different genetic morphs. These affect the size, pattern, shape, and color of snakes. Different types of snakes also require different enclosures, as well as different types of substrate. 

    Micky and Tamara Meyer stopped in at Fox 2 news to give viewers a preview of what to expect at their upcoming Show Me Reptiles & Exotics event. They brought along with them Twinkie, their Burmese Python and education ambassador, a Blue Tongue Skink, which is a favorite, and a Red – footed Tortoise. 

    Paula Sands with KWQC invited husband and wife Tamara and Micky Meyer from Show Me Snakes. The couple brought along with them Burmese Python and education ambassador Twinkie, as well as Blue Tongue Skink Spunky from Australia.
