Micky and Tamara Meyer stopped in at Fox 2 Now to give viewers a preview of what to expect at their upcoming Show Me Reptiles & Exotics event. They brought along with them Twinkie, their Burmese Python and education ambassador, a Blue Tongue Skink, which is a favorite, and a Red – footed Tortoise. These are just some of the different animals that guests can expect to see at their show.
Not only will animals be for sale, but it is a great place to come and get educated on proper animal husbandry and purchase the different supplies enthusiasts will need to be successful. Breeders and other long time members of the community are happy to help educate and share their tips and tricks with people from all experience levels. A great recommendation for a first time snake owner would be a Corn Snake, while a Burmese Python like Twinkie would be best left to the more experienced owners.
The Show Me Reptiles & Exotics show is Sunday, February 16, at the District 9 Machinists Hall. It will be from 10AM – 4PM, with a $5 admission. Kids 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite or at the door. Mark your calendars for this amazing event!
