Founded in 2021, Variegata Exotic Plants began with a focus on something unexpected—poinsettias. What started as a seasonal plant project has since evolved into a diverse and thriving business with a passion for both horticulture and exotic animals.
From Poinsettias to Plants and Exotics
In their early days, Variegata Exotic Plants concentrated on producing quality poinsettias. As customer interest grew, so did their mission. The business expanded into a wider range of houseplants and specialty greenery, eventually branching into the world of reptiles and invertebrates.
Today, their booth offers a distinctive combination of plants, exotic reptiles, tarantulas, and other invertebrates, appealing to hobbyists across multiple interests.
Tarantulas and Invertebrates
Variegata Exotic Plants has developed a strong interest in tarantulas and invertebrates. They especially enjoy working with Curly Hair Tarantulas, a species known for its calm nature and suitability for beginners. The business continues to expand its invert and tarantula offerings and aims to introduce even more variety to the community.
Fancy Pet Mice Project
A unique aspect of their work is their Fancy Pet Mice project. Focused on producing friendly, well-socialized mice with appealing markings and coloration, this project has attracted attention from families and small animal enthusiasts seeking companion-quality mice.
