For our vendor spotlight this week we are featuring Critters Creatures! Not only are they a family owned business, but the owners Jason and Angela Emmons are a part of the Show Me Reptiles Show team. Back in 2016, shortly after the couple moved to Georgia, they went to one of their first reptile shows. With Jason & Angela both having owned animals for the majority of their lives, they decided to take the leap and purchase 3 ball pythons. With guidance from local breeders, they were able to produce their first clutch. Since falling more in love with the hobby, they have now transformed their basement into a full reptile room with over one hundred adult snakes.
Other than ball pythons, Critters Creatures has blood pythons, Sumatran short-tailed pythons, and Kenyan sand boas. They also have small collections of Honduran milk snakes and bull snakes. One of the more unique offerings they have are their ant colonies. They are able to 3D print formicarium designs for small ant species, as well as offering a large variety of test tubes that can be used to collect ants.
Critters Creatures will be at the Gadesn, Alabama show this weekend on October 21st, so keep an eye out for them! This year has been exceptionally well for them. They are expecting to have their biggest hatching season yet for their ball pythons, as well as being lucky enough to have twins in one of their previous clutches. If you aren’t able to make it out to see them in person, you can always contact them through their social media, or send them an email at [email protected].
