Our vendor of the month is Modified Reptiles, owned by Jeffrey Christopher. They are a small reptile business in Pevely, Missouri. They specialize in reticulated pythons, PVC cages, and are looking to branch out into a variety of different feeders, including rabbits and chickens for larger reptiles.

Jeffrey has been passionate about reptiles since he was a child. After being gifted a stuffed snake after his father passed away, he soon realized he wanted to own a live one. When he turned 16 he was given a 15ft burmese python named Hypno. This cultivated a deep desire to become a herpetologist. Since then, Jeffrey has been involved in the reptile community in several different ways. One of the most impressive things about Modified Reptiles is their willingness to rescue reptiles of any breed, size, or age. They focus on rehabilitation, then look for a suitable home. Jeffrey also focuses on educating the reptile community in various ways. Not only does he offer guidance to pet owners, but he has an apprentice that he shares his animal and business knowledge with.
