After that he was always bringing something home; tortoises, snakes, anything he could catch, really. Years later the obsession really took off when he was introduced to someone locally who was breeding snakes. For several years Scott found himself volunteering 7 days a week for this person just so he could work with the animals and learn as much as he could. Originally having a career in the construction business Scott could not have foreseen that the exotics hobby he was so passionate about was going to fatefully become his forever profession. After a work-related injury that ended his time in construction, Scott took his first steps into turning his reptile hobby into a business. What started as a 25 snake, several year, personal breeding project located in his basement has now turned into the 6,600 square foot facility you see today! For the past 20+ years Scott has truly made a name for himself in the industry. He takes great pride in the care and quality of his animals and strives to offer the most affordable prices around. CV Exotics currently has hundreds of different morphs to choose from. CV Exotics is a one-stop-shop for exotic animal hobbyists and beginners alike. With a retail store stocked with various enclosure options, feeders for all animal species offered, husbandry supplies and enrichment-- you won’t need to go anywhere else. Product Returns Returns on Dry Goods / Supplies are issued by request up to 10 days after purchase. If you are not satisfied with your purchase or it is defective please contact us before sending it back for return instructions. Returned items must be in original packaging and unused. We CAN NOT accept returns on used or abused items. We will promptly refund your purchase price upon return of the item in its original condition. Shipping and Handling charges can not be refunded. Any typos or price errors are subject to correction without filling the order. Due to damage considerations we CAN NOT accept returns or exchanges on any bulbs (fluorescent, incandescent, ceramic heat emitters, halogen or any other "bulb"). Please choose your items you order carefully! Check your wattage, length, size , T5 or T8, etc BEFORE you finalize your order! CV Exotics Inc is unable to accept returns on heat tape that has been connected or wired. No warranty is offered on heat tape products whether purchased in components, pre wired by us or installed in any rack or caging system. The consumer MUST use an appropriate thermostat or rheostat with ALL heat tape and heated cage/rack products. The consumer is also responsible for the installation and maintenance of these products. PAYMENT PLANS- Payment plans are available for up to 3 months. Our minimum for a payment plan is $250.00 with a 25% non-refundable deposit to hold any animal. We do not offer any discounts for payment plans. Please be sure that you intend to purchase the animal before entering into a payment agreement. Any payments made are non-refundable. We can offer a credit to be applied to other animals in the event that you are unable to fulfill your commitment or would like to change animals BUT you will lose your 25% deposit. If for any reason WE cannot supply your animal your money will be refunded promptly-- including the 25% deposit. This is the ONLY instance in which a deposit is refunded. Once payment is received in full we will arrange shipping. LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE- Live Arrival Guarantee: all animals are guaranteed to arrive alive, in good health, and correctly sexed. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, We must be notified within the first 4 hours of receipt and has to be sent back alive and healthy within 7 days for a refund. Any acceptations must be agreed on ahead of time in writing. Please open your boxes and inspect your order after signing the delivery receipt. We expect all shipments to be picked up within 4 hours of arrival if held at a FedEx location for pick up. We can only ship to a FEDEX SHIP CENTER If you would like to have it Held for pickup. The Driver License will have to match the shipping label. Live animals cannot be shipped to FedEx Ship and Print Centers or FedEx kiosk in Walmart, Walgreens, Hotels, etc. Home Deliveries also available someone over 18 will have to sign for it. Animals will only be guaranteed with appropriate shipping temperatures, nothing below 30 and nothing above 90. Also, you must be there to accept the package on the first attempt. otherwise the guarantee will be void. We ship Monday-Thursday for Tuesday - Friday deliveries. We do not ship for weekend deliveries. Shipping will be done through FedEx Priority overnight. We are not responsible for carrier delays beyond our control. Additional terms may apply. We withhold the right to change our terms at any time. 20+years experience in shipping live animals. We pack with Styrofoam lined boxes, either heat or cold packs depending on temperature to insure a safe arrival. We will not ship until we confirm the order with you and confirm that you will have someone home to receive your order. COVID19 UPDATE- FedEx has been experiencing heavy volume delays, so for the foreseeable future, we are requiring live animal purchases to be picked up at the nearest hub for live arrival guarantee. (unless expressly noted via email).
