We will always take back any animal we produce. We reserve first right of refusal if for any reason you decide you need to rehome your animal. If we choose to buy back an animal, compensation will be prorated based on age and condition of the animal as outlined in our policies. In all other cases, we will always accept back any hedgehog as a rescue. We do not offer compensation for rescue animals or supplies. Compensation for tenrecs and short tailed opossums are considered on a case by case basis. *We reserve the right to refuse or cancel the sale of any animal, at anytime, for any reason.* If we deem it necessary to refuse or cancel a sell, all payments minus deposit will be refunded. This is the only circumstance in which any money is refunded.

We accept cash, Square, and Paypal only. A fee of 3% is added when using Square or Paypal. Square and Paypal payments will only be accepted from the approved buyer and funds must clear prior to release of the animal. Any Square or Paypal transactions that are falsely disputed or withdrawn after receipt of the animal and accessories will be charged additional to cover all fees and legal costs involved in recovering the amount of the original payment. Absolutely no e-checks, checks or money orders.

We will not hold any animal without a deposit or payment. Animal priced below $500 require payment in full. All payments are non-refundable. We also offer invoicing through Afterpay and PayPal for those wanting to use their split payment services.

Local Pick-up is available in Elizabeth City by appointment or at any of the expo locations we are scheduled to vend at. Transport can be arranged door to door to all legal state by a USDA registered animal transporter for an additional fee. Scheduled based on available routes. Flights can also be scheduled based on airline availability and weather restrictions, at additional charge. Carolina Quillery cannot be held responsible for the health or well being of any animal during shipping.
