Meet Andrea Holka #1 in wildlife identification in the state of Michigan's 4H program at the age of 18. Miss Andrea Holka, or "Andi," born in 1999 in Traverse City, MI. Known for her bright personality and strong will, Andi has always pursued her passions with determination. Her love for bugs and nature began at a young age, sparked by a visit to the Chicago Field Museum with her grandfather. At 12, she discovered and expanded her grandfather’s butterfly collection, teaching herself the art of pinning insects. By 16, she started college aiming for a master’s in entomology but shifted focus to entrepreneurship to avoid debt. Now, at 24, Andi is showcasing her specimens at the Oddities and Curiosities Expo Tour across 15 venues this summer. Looking forward, Andi plans to create educational content this winter.
